Sovereign Health of Florida understands dealing with insurance companies can be frustrating. To make it easier for patients to pay for their treatment, we handle the minutiae, the small print and the paperwork.

Sovereign Health accepts most major health insurance plans. The Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA) mandates that all health care insurance companies cover behavioral health services as an essential benefit. The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAE) guarantees benefits for behavioral health treatment are equal to benefits for physical health treatment.

We, of course, accept personal payments. But for those patients who do not have insurance and who lack the financial resources to pay for treatment, Sovereign Health has entered into a partnership with My Treatment Lender to ensure every patient has access to treatment.

My Treatment Lender specializes in securing loans for individual seeking treatment for a behavioral health issue. My Treatment Lender will contact hundreds of lenders to secure the best loan for a patient. Yes, a good credit history is favorable, but not necessary. Sovereign Health and My Treatment Lender work tirelessly to ensure everyone who wants treatment receives it.

Make no mistake: treatment is hard work. It requires commitment. With respect to patients enrolled in our substance abuse programs, you will be called upon to open up, discuss your feelings, explore the underlying reasons compelling you to engage in self-destructive behavior. Our mental health patients need to focus on their individual treatment plans. No patient needs to be diverted from treatment because of financial worries.
